Veterans Memorial Wall in Memorial Park, Grass Valley

The Marine Corps League Gold Country Detachment #885, is taking the lead to expand the Veterans Memorial Wall at Memorial Park in Grass Valley, CA.
The objective is to add to this enduring and dignified tribute to those who have worn the uniform of our country. Plaques being placed on the walls are available to any former serviceman or servicewoman including the deceased and the living of those who saw service during both war and peace.
The city of Grass Valley has fully endorsed this project. For a tax deductible donation of $100 the Gold Country Detachment will arrange for an individual 4" X 8" granite plaque to be placed on the Veterans Memorial Wall. Each plaque will be engraved with the name of the veteran, their service branch and dates of service.

Gold Country Detachment is planning to be ready for dedication on Memorial Day 2018. Thus far, the positive response to this addition has exceeded expectations. Indeed, veterans and their families from all over Nevada County have been calling to make inquires on how to make their donation and to be assured of space available for their names or names of their loved ones on this wall. For anyone wanting to make the $100 donation and apply for a plaque on this new addition, download and complete this application form.
Your tax deductible donation may be sent directly to:
